Gary Gygax presents Lejendary Adventure ™
Lejendary Adventure is a multi-genre roleplaying game created by Gary Gygax that is easy for the beginner to learn, yet complex enough to keep even the most experienced gamer satisfied. The RPG is skill based, allowing for maximum character diversity and creativity. Gamers accustom to class based systems will thrive in the system using the many established Orders. Straight forward base mechanics allow play to proceeds quickly, with a focus on role-playing rather than rules referencing. Gary Gygax intentionally created the system to allow maximum flexibility for the game master (aka Lejend Master) during game play—that means fewer, if any, breaks in the game session to look up complex combat rules or strange situational modifiers. The result is a game session with a lot less arguments and "rule breaks" and a lot more role-playing and excitement!

3.8.2005-- Hekaforge Productions and Troll Lord Games to attend GTS 2005 in Las Vegas
The GAMA Trade Show (GTS) is an industry event (i.e. not for consumers), where game manufacturers, publishers, distributors and retailers gather to share the latest and greatest in the hobby games industry.
According to the GAMA website (http://www.gama.org): "Publishers and distributors exhibit at the show, showing off their product lines and services and making announcements of major releases. Retailers and distributors seek out new products to stock and new publishing companies to push. Educational seminars aimed at every segment of the industry help hobby game professionals improve their business practices and grow their companies."
The Trolls will no doubt be promoting the new "Hall of Many Panes" adventure for Lejendary Adventure (and d20), along with the "Lejendary Adventure Essentials" boxed set and its upcoming companion adventure "Living the Legend".
Hekaforge Productions will be at the show promoting the "Terekaptra" series of adventures for LA, along with a "sneak peak" at the much anticipated Lejendary Earth expansion, "The Exotic Realms of Hazgar".

04.26.2004-- Does Anyone Still Play Dungeons & Dragons?
A new article on the BBC News web site talks about some of the history of Dungeons & Dragons, how it started, who created it and if anyone still playes it today--30 years after it was originally released to the public. The comments at the end of the article will give anyone who played the game back in the 70's or 80's a blast of nostalgia!
04.14.2004-- Dungeons & Dragons Fails Video Games!
A very interesting read on how d20 3.5 failed to translate well into the CRPG The Temple of Elemental Evil. The article thuroughly explores problems inherent to porting a pen-and-paper RPG rules system into a computer RPG. While the task is certainly difficult it is not impossible. The people over at Dreams Interactive choose to use the Lejendary Adventure RPG by our very own Gary Gygax. It would be interesting to compare and contrast their experience porting the LA rules into their CRPG! Visit the forums to discuss this article.
